I usually go into "self deprication" mode. I find myself jokingly pointing out my faults in such a manner that surely it would let someone know I'm not interested. I guess I get into "guy mode" too. You know where I talk sports and drinking and stuff that makes me seem like a "pal" instead of someone they might be interested in. Sadly enough, this is really not a problem I have. I am friends with guys. I dont usually have them telling me they are interested. lol But if it happens..... I'll be sure to figure out something. meanwhile, burping and adjusting myself works well. :)

start talking about something nerdy like shark week on discovery channel or tell them you have an arranged marriage at age 25 in exchange for 20 barrells of oil and four cows

I usually tell them "sorry, but I'm not looking for a relationship right now and I;m not into flings". If they can't or won't take the hint - then I just walk away

Just tell them you are taken, even if you aren't. It softens the blow for them. And if that doesn't work then you have no choice but to be straight forward & say I am absolutely not interested & Leave me alone!!

I would try my hardest to make it seem like I'm not flirting with them. Because this has happened to me so many times, I usually just say I gotta go or something like that.

If you're like me, you dont know when someone is flirting with you until someone tells you. So I usually dont have that problem.

I tell them I am taken (which I am by the way) and please leave me alone I am not interested, if that doesn't work I get walk away or leave the situation.

You could always say that you're already taken. That's a nice way out.
