I'm thinking they are either lonely or they want attention.

I am bored and cannot look up this answer on google.

For the 3rd guy, I don't like attention and I've read the other questions, the more answers I get the better view of this I have.
I will admit that yahoo answers is interesting but if you look at some of the questions, more so the one's about health I just find if unbelievable that people would put their trust in others that don't have a clue what they are on about.

antyb93, yes it is somewhat disloyal. I have yahoo email and I'm on flickr (taken over by yahoo) but I do not like yahoo very much, I'm getting far too much spam, I only give out my email to places that do not share it and flickr is gone just horrible. On the google thing it's a much better search engine + it's in the corner on the window and I don't really want to change it.
Thats it really! Off the point but anyway

I do sometimes. I am not at all good at searching, and usually if wikipedia does not have what I need, I'm at a loss. Also, lots of questions are matters of opinion, and this gives us a large pool of people from which to glean those opinions.

But tell me, please, why you refer to google while on Yahoo? Doesn't that seem disloyal?

I don't ask information questions, I ask questions to see how other people feel, but if I do ask a information question it's cause I don't feel like searching Google, especially knowing someone will probably give me an active link to answer my question.

Sometimes maybe people aren't comfortable with google and would rather get it from a person instead.
It is 2 points for me,so I am fine with it.

Hey, why should I do the work, when I can farm it out to someone else willing to work for just 2 points?
