Windows Live One Care tells me that Firewall is switched off.
What is the best way to deal with this?

First check your system's security by clicking on the start button, then clicking on the control panel, then the security icon (usually a shield). Go to the firewall setting and you should be able to reenable it from there.

Download a new decent one from www.comodo.com - its free - better than Windows one and works like a dream

If you have WindowsXP, go to Start
Settings
Control Panel
Windows Firewall
click in the box to turn it on

then put a tick in turn it on.
