and is it time we say enough of this blaming the US for everytning that comes along and pull our troops from the DMZ in Korea, (along with all the land mines) and let the South Koreans deal with the nut in the North on their own.

I don't think it's so much as blaming us for their kidnapping as much as it is anger that we're not giving into the terrorists who did the kidnapping for them.

Also, it's probably a very political push in that region, given it's already anti-american sentitment, politicians can use it the outcry as a soapbox on which to stand and promote themselves.

It's interesting to think that the country sees the US as a people who save everyone, but is denying them their protection. They're putting the US on a pedastal in blind faith, not realizing that the US has a history of not negotiating with terrorists, for affairs domestic and foreign.

Who cares if they blame it on us? What are they really going to do about it?

We are their security blanket, and their pacemaker so to speak....

I guess though, if the U.S. hadn't pushed out the Taliban in the first place, they wouldn't have to hold the Korean's hostage for their demands. They could of just thrown them in "jail." So yeah, it is all our fault.

South Korea is only making this worse, by negotiating with them. The U.S. policy on this is very clear, we don't!

The hostage taking in Afghanistan must not be blamed on the Americans but should be a solved with the cooperation of the international community of nations.

south koreans are greediest one of all. that's why north korea should invade and conquer south korea.

besides, it's their fault. what do u expect when u send christian nerds into middle of battle zone where kidnapping is rampant. they were asking for trouble.

they go into lion's den voluntarily and blame someone else for obvious consequences.

also most korean christians use their christianity as a front for their own business ventures & acquiring more real estate. koreans are more greedy than scrooge before he changed
