...and oh, her grandad's Dutch. Now what the heck nationality is she?

She's Sweedish.
The country in which you were born is the one that you consider your own.No matter what mix of dna is floating in ur blood,you'll be part of the culture you've been breathing around you the most.

I assume the Greek Government will grant her citizenship and
a passport, but not sure, cause I don't know the Laws of
Greece. I suppose the English will give her a Brit. Passport, and France will do something similar. All three countries
are in the EU so she will only need an identity card to travel
in Europe. As for the Dutch, well, Dutch is almost as difficult
to learn as Greek. If she's raised in Sweden she will probably
be considered a Swedish National. Her ethnic backround will of course be all of these, n'est ce pas?

They would be Greek nationality if born there. My mother was Irish and my father was English but i was born in Wales. I was once told iwas a cob because of the nationalities. Never heard of such a word in my life.

Edit; Garfield, don't know if it's in any dictionary but; If something is made up out of odds and ends, we say cobbed or cobbled together! Does that make you a cob? I don't know?
