Okay, I have a whole bunch of songs under one artist, but when I turn my iPod on it sometimes completely excludes several random songs from that artist. Does anyone know how to solve this? I have a video iPod, 30 GB (if it makes any difference).

Check your itunes library and make sure the songs are there. If they are make sure they are checked. If all else fails, download the missing songs again.

If you downloaded the artist's songs individually, they are probably in your ipod, but aren't categorized like you want them to be.

Try restoring your ipod to its factory settings, and reload your ipod with your music, if you haven't done so already. This may help. If not, there may be some problems with the file type... Did you download the songs off of limewire or similar type programs? Maybe you have to change the file type... Contact the ipod help desk if you have further issues. :-)

mine does that too, maybe in itunes its not group corectly, but if u want to listen to it, just go to songs (the ones in alphabetical order) not the artist and then their songs, idk y but it excludes songs that dont have an album name in the artists section.
