I just don't answer those questions. The reason why folks get annoyed is that they want to know if they are pregnant. Well, how would any of us know? Take the test!? Now, as for the accuracy of said test, I can understand that question. But in many cases, they haven't even read the instructions! If you take a test 5 days before your period and the test says to wait until 5 days AFTER your period was due, why ask online if it's accurate? Sortof dumb. Also, I can't understand why some of these gals don't search those questions and look at the answers. I take the time to answer questions, but sheesh..can we just look up a few similar ones?
Ok..I'm done. Have a pleasant day and thank goodness that you were not on the bridge when it collapsed.

im assuming from this question that you have asked about being pregnant and got some horrible answers? if thats the case, dont worry about it hun. When i first found out i was pregnant, i was only just 4 weeks gone and i was on here asking questions all the time, like could the test be wrong, will i have a m/c, will it be a chemical pregnancy? obviously no one could tell me the answer to these questions as there is no way of knowing until it happens but i kept asking anyway as i just wanted advise and wanted to know as much as possible. What im trying to say is, you ask whatever you want and just ignore anyone who decides that they need to be horrible. good luck hun and take care xx

People can be very mean on here and I've never been able to see why. Makes me wonder though why, if all people are going to do is complain about the "am I pregnant" question, do they go into it, read it and then bother to answer it. Surely those who are that annoyed by them should just not bother going to read or even answer them?
Pregnancy is different for us all, even though the end result is always the same-a beautiful baby! Go easy on those who post the Am I Pregnant question-you wouldn't like it if you were in that position.
On reading some of the other answers, I have to answer that Leesa-spelt IS a word, it appears in the English dictionary.
Obviously though some US English words are different to the Queen's UK English.

People get mad because those are stupid questions how are we going to know if they are pregnant women don't get pregnancy symptoms within 2 weeks of getting pregnant they usually start after you miss a period. That should tell you hey i missed a period maybe i am pregnant, i will take a pregnancy test instead of asking the question. Some girls ask , me and my boyfriend had sex on this day could i be pregnant ./ How the hell would we know. TAKE A TEST, THEY SELL THEM AT THE DOLLAR STORE.

i think its awful that people are been like this towards young peoples questions. someone answered about girls that are not even 18 being pregnant. well i am 17 nearly 18 n Ive just found out i am pregnant an i am really happy but why is this a bad thing i have a loving boyfriend who Ive been with for over 3 years i have a full time well paid job and we are currently looking for our own house. so i don't think people should say things about people without knowing there story. also i feel i am just as grown up as anyone else and that i will be fine looking after a baby because most people have sometime in there life and don't think it matters when as long as you feel happy about it yourself.

Well, people come to this section, not realizing their situation is exactly the same as hundreds of others before them. Usually the "am I pregnant" questions come from people who have never even thought to come to the pregnancy section. I have to admit, when I first took my pregnancy test and the line was light, I came to this section and asked if it mattered that the line was really light... but at least I bothered to take a test! LOL
By the way... it doesn't bother me that badly when people misspell words, but it does bother me when you can barely understand what they are trying to say...................

Because you have to admit, some of the questions are so darn stupid. For instance, I had sex last night and I took a pregnancy test this morning, it was negative, am I still possibly pregnant? Of course not, you have to wait at least the length of a menstrual cycle to even take an EPT.

The only way you will really know if you are pregnant is by taking a test. We can't tell people on here if they are pregnant or not. There is no need for nastiness, but it does become very tedious.

it really annoys me when people go on tirades about the way they're treated online by people they don't even know...
you run the risk of people flipping out at you and treating you in a rude manner when you post the age-old "am i pregnant" question. women on here do not get annoyed by all of these questions, because there are legitimate women out there who need help. but they are the ones who are trying to get pregnant and seeking hope in the fact that they are... not the 12-20something year olds that come on here and ask us to foretell their futures because they had unprotected sex out of wedlock. we don't need the run-down on their sex lives and ovulation patterns.
it's just sad that people don't see that they've made the mistake and people are going to judge them for it (even if that is wrong), but they need to accept that and then take what they get with a grain of salt. you asked for the pregnancy possibility by having unprotected sex, or by having sex without adequate birth control (breaking condoms, but no back up), so therefore you must accept that some people are going to give you hell for it.
also, it is unwise of these women to come on here the day after they've had unprotected sex because they've freaked themselves out and now think they are feeling "pregnancy symptoms" when really, it's most likely just guilt and nerves, and they continuously ask "is it too early to tell?" common sense would say to either go pop a morning after pill, or wait it out a few weeks and test if your period goes missing.
it's also annoying when people come on here and use improper grammar (i'm not saying that i expect everyone on here to be 100% literate and english majors) and use (not you's) the wrong words in place of words that would make a lot more sense...
such as your "use all", which would make sense in the context of "use all of the bread", but not in the context of "you's all"... which by itself isn't even proper. i understand that some people don't have the education that others have... but you live in an english speaking country (i presume, since this is the english-speaking board), and the way you present yourself matters quite a bit. if you present yourself as sloppy and uneducated and young (oMg, lYke AM I PrEgNaNt?!), chances are you will be treated as such...
