who agrees with this theory:
"if people give up there children for adoption or just throw them away somewhere these unwanted and uncared for children will grow up to become the next generation of criminals Nobody taught these forsaken children any better, so as a result these children will bring the crime rate up world -wide.

My opinion is that it is a very difficult decision that a woman has to make. It should not be used as a form of birth control and the woman should have access to counseling before and after to deal with the trauma this decision may cause her. A woman's body is her own to make choices with and this should not involve any males.

I'm a girl and I only see a few cases in which abortion is acceptble. Cases of rape, or incest, or cases in which the baby can kill the mother or kill both the mother and the baby. Abortion to avoid responsability is wrong. I am not the go-to-church-every-Sunday kind of person, but I don't believe that playing God is something we should be doing. If either the guy or the girl isn't old or responsible enough to take care of the child, well then he or she was not old or responsible enough to be fooling around with the opposite sex. As the saying goes: "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time." Now a days we have plenty of birth-control methods, as well as enough counseling so that anybody wanting to avoid getting pregnant (or becoming a father) could avoid it. Oh, and as a girl I hate when guys blame the girl for getting pregnant. Some guys need a reality check; the responsibility is shared, and guys can use condoms. Oh, and the only 100% secure way of birth control is abstinence. If you wanted to fool around...well, too bad for you. I understand that some of these children would be unwanted, but we can't possibly be killing babies just like that. Plus, there are many sterile men and women who would want to adopt a child. That brings me to my next point: there's politics everywhere. The government ( in my humble opinion) sometimes makes it too hard for people to adopt children. For instance, I'm sure there are plenty of stable, loving, and financially secure single women who would want to adopt babies, but they can't. And why can't they? Because they are not married. Is the love the child will receive taken into consideration? Nope. It's all politics. Abortion is used as a distraction because for many it is a passionate issue, and because it effectively distracts the population from other issues such as Iraq, or immigration reform. The politicians disagree, some say they are pro-choice, others say they are pro-life, they put on a great political show, and at the end nothing is done. Sounds familiar? Yeap, it does.

It should be the decision of both participants. Neither the man or the woman have 100% rights to decide whether they should bring a child to this world (if both of the participants are willing to take responsible for the child). They should discuss it together (if possible, otherwise it's absolutely up to the female) and make their own decision. No one should decide what a person want to do with their body, or want to do with their life, their future.
It's true that it's a woman body that's go through it, but it is also true that it includes a man's responsible to raise a kid. It's a Mom and a Dad that makes a parents, not just a Mom or a Dad.
Sympathy to other childless family is not an option here because it is the future of the couples, and maybe a kid and also many other kids. Do you even sympatize a homeless you see on the street, trying to live and get some money for food, and hand out $5 everytime you see him? Do you ever cross your mind or know that there're millions of actual HUMAN BEINGS struggling and dying in the third world countries and think about giving up a portion of your salary to those third world countries? Show some sympathy to those actually in need first than to some a little bit unlucky family without kid.
Those childless families are way better than the homeless guy. Are the couple ready to raise a child? Are they financially capable? Are they mentally capable? Are they ready to raise a human being for the rest of their lives TOGETHER (or at least to 10 or 20 yrs)? Is the mom to be ready to carry a kid around for at least 10 months (if they decide adoption) and leave off anything she's doing with her life? Have they think about the impact of bring and raising a child into this world? These questions should be answered first before any couple decide to have a kid. They should decide for themselves, not for others.
Just because other people can't bear a child, they should not get an abortion is a wrong idea. And just because abortion = killing is wrong too. You are not doing any impact on other families nor the kid. Try to think how much you need to and are willing to sacrifice for the child. If you are young and bearing a child might just kill your oppotunity to live a comfortable life, are you willing to leave it? If there won't be a dad, are you willing to raise a kid without a dad and have him go through it for the rest of his life just to keep yourself out of guilt? In the worst case, if you've been raped, are you willing to raise a kid for your rapist and love the kid? Or are you going to abuse that kid and hate it for the rest of your life? Or are you going to tell him at 18 that his dad is a rapist? If you think you cannot love children, how do you think you will raise the kid? Are you going to love him or hate him? Even though people say it is killing, if you are going to raise a kid who has no future at all? In that case, killing is just an easy option for the kid rather than bring him here and make him suffer.
Giving away for adoption is not an option either and it should be considered seriously. Are you willing to let YOUR kid grow up as an orphan without ever knowing who his/her real parents are? How much percent do you think he'll have a good future rather than ending up on the street or killing somebody else? Isn't that some kind of tortue too? It is even more cruel than killing.
My opinion: the couple (if they still are a couple) should talk until they reach an agreement and decide what they should do. Abortion is completely fine. It is just not a small matter, but blocking out an option such as no abortion because of political or religious point of view is not a solution either. The involved couple should decide for their future and what they want to do with their kid. It might true that you are killing but also think about what will happen in the next 20 to 30 years? Are you bringing the kid a bright future or not bringing him/her into this world at all?
Think about those and decide for yourself. Never decide your matter with other people's opinion.

I personally think that if someone is gonna have sex, then they know pregnancy is something that can happen, so if it does they should deal with the consiquenses of there actions, I think that abortion is only ok if the mothers life is in danger, or in the case of rape, I think its wrong when people use it as a form of birth control, because it is an innicent life that has to suffer.
Men think its ok cuz they don't have to spend money on a kid, but thats wrong they also know what can happen, so they are no less at fault then the woman. I also believe that if your going to terminate a pregancy then do it early on, it makes me angry when women wait till the last second, because the babies can feel things, there alive and the bigger they get, the more pain they have to go through.
People need to be smarter about these things.

I hate the whole "you could've aborted the next Einstein!" Yeah, or you could've aborted the next Saddam Hussein..it works both ways.
Abortion is a privacy issue, plain and simple. It's not about "killing babies" or else women who miscarry would be charged with manslaughter. Most people who scream "but you can give it up for adoption!" aren't the ones who actually ADOPT any of the unwanted kids out there, or only adopt only the perfectly healthy, white newborns (please keep in mind I said MOST!!). Personally, I believe that if a soul is meant to be on this planet, they will get here-abortion, miscarriage, etc regardless.

All personal views aside, abortion is going to happen no matter whether it is legal or not... when abortion was illegal in earlier times, people had to resort to backstreet doctors and risked all types of infections and diseases...besides people should have a choice whether or not to bear a child, because for the most part, the child being aborted is better off not-living than being born into a world where it is not wanted or cared for...

if it would kill both that becomes the mothers choice i have to say it would be pretty pointless for them both to die... or else if u go to the bodies exhibit and go to the fetus section, u will see the 9 week old fetus which looks like a really small person and u will then realize that ending that is killing it and since its a human life (and it does look like a human cus it is) thats murder

I am a 60 yr old woman with 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren. I honestly feel the decision to carry a child should be between the woman who is carrying the fetus and the man who fathered it. I believe it comes down to the old saying "you haven't walked in my shoes" theory. No woman should be forced to carry a child they don't want and will not love.

I believe that the baby is an innocent and does not deserve a death penalty. I also believe that the woman has a right to choose what to do with her body, and that she chose sex so should live with the consequenses. Adoption is always a better way to go than murder. So many childless families out there are struggling with fertility issues, how can we ignore them?

In my opinion abortion should not be done. If a female ends up being pregnant they should have the child. I mean they had their fun and should face the consequences. If the female happens to be a rap victim they still should not abort. after all it isn't the child's fault. Other than being a sin it is simply just not right to kill an innocent human.
