My computer was working fine a few days ago, but when I tried to turn it on yesterday nothing happened. I checked to see if it was plugged in okay and it was. The monitor and the copier which are both hooked up to the same multi plug thing work fine. The fan in the back of the computer also will not work.
Does anyone know what may be wrong? I don't want to spend alot of money to get it fixed, so your input would be greatly appreciated.

my daughter had the same problem , It was bugs of all things and i don't mean a computer bug but cockaroaches. they got into the brain part by the fan and ate the power source wiring to the powerbar that supplys the brain. an early warning is the fan will constantly run before they finally do you in. i suggest a roach motel by your computer brain. after you get it fixed.

Check the other end of the cord. Some unplug at both ends, and may slip out a bit, and *Look* plugged in.

Check if the power supply on/off button on the back of the computer is on?
