Minnesota, Maine, Michigan, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Missouri, etc. Most northern states are nice in summer and snow for Christmas.

Depends on your definition of nice weather. The mountains in California almost always get snow in the winter. Summer in the mountains in relatively cool, maybe 65-80 degrees during the day.

Illinois, but you don't want to live here because the winters are really harsh (it's gotten to -20F before) and sometimes it doesn't even snow; usually there's at least a light dusting at Christmas, but there's only one really big snow (meaning like a foot of snow) about every other year. If you consider 80F-95F to be nice in summer, you'd love summers here.

Alaska. May sound suprising, but it 60-70 degrees in the summer, and in the winter, about 35 below-0 degrees. Well, that's in Southcentral Alaska, where I live. It's just beautiful during Christmas.

Missouri, its a nice place during the summer, open fields, farms, animals, then during the winter, it sprinkles over the the ground just enough to not have hevy snow, but still fun to play in

Illinois gets snow but sometimes its not during Christmas...its usually super snowy in January...but the winters are really cold and they seem to last forever and then summers are usually hot and humid

I'm in CT and we haven't really had snow for Christmas in several years. The winters tend to be unpredictable (usually milder weather than more inland states) Summers here aren't too bad. I'm costal so we get the better weather year round. Right now it's comfortable outside (though I'm in an office freezing my tail off thanks to our A/C!)
