I feel as though everything in my life is being pre-determined and is all beyond my control, in the worst ways possible =[. Do you ever feel the same way? I seriously think some-one somewhere, is having a darn good laugh at me =]

well i dont know about you

but im catholic and at a moment in my life when i felt i had no control of my life and everything sucked it was also when i was the farthest away from my faith because to me it was a waste of time and i didnt liek going to mass and all until i went to this new church and i reconnected with god and it is seriosuly so much fun and trust me when i say before that i was such a screw up and even now i still fall into mistakes/sins but now im starting fresh and dotn want to stay away from my faith because it really helps me get away fromt eh real world and problems when im surrounded by teens who believe just like i do like recently i went to this retreat in san diego and it was filled with 4,000 teenagers (high schoolers) and it was so amazing and filled with good energy

and now that i look back at my life i see that i had control of my life but i chose to not use that control in a good way and instead messed up my life and while i was in te retreat this last weekend my uncle asked my aunt for a divorce and so when i got home to san jose i couldnt believe it and i did feel liek i had no control and it is true i dont have any over that because it isnt my life but everyone tried to support them and now they are giving their marriage another shot

there are times in life which are really rough i have gone through them and i will go through soem more but what helps me is my faith i suggest you take some time to yourself and just think if there is anything you can do about the things going on in your life and if you ever need help you can email me and even if you have a total diff faith then i do or no religion at all it doesnt matter

i hope your life gets better
the best of luck

Step #1 -- burn your copy of "The Truman Show".
Step #2 -- quit watching TV.
Step #3 -- live your life as though everybody is watching, hoping to learn from you. Everybody can teach something to somebody, just by living.
Step #4 -- spend as much time as possible outdoors.
Step #5 -- Have a darn good laugh at yourself sometimes. The people I worry the most about are the ones that can't do this.
Step #6 -- RUN YOUR COMPUTER'S SPYWARE PROTECTION!!! (Oh, I'm kidding. Have a nice day!)

Yes, I feel the same way, Like especially in my freshmen year when everything was so perfect for me, like I was on homecoming court and Vice President for class, and I was on a another court also. Then I have some teenage drama, as a poplar guy that was a jock and I have this huge crush on him and a whole munch of other girls liked him also. and my best friend tried to warm me but I didn't listen so I wanted to asked The poplar guy to the ball, but he wanted me to pay for him and I heard that he doesn't want to dance with me and he was saying this to his friend. So I about to cry, then my best friend stay he'll go with me, and almost all of my friends say "you guys would make a good couple", so we all went to the ball and have a very good time. The ball was a military Ball at some extremely nice place and I was on the Military Ball court, and I won!
Then my summer job so cool and hilarious, I can't tell you everything, but it so funny, great friends, two crushes, and some nasty boy, like a teenage drama movie. One of my crushes I met was in the city, and he works at a teahouse, it's to long to tell you all of it, but it was very hilarious. like he made the bowls scatter to the ground and tripped a couple of times and he had gave me a free drink, on the house, and his mother said " what nice girl from him", and the teahouse was like a teenage place to hang and my parents didn't really know what's going on. It was like a Reality TV show my sister had said to me, and it was, as if we were in the middle of the restaurant and a very cute waiter about to ask for my number but I already wrote it down for him. However, the bad thing was I forgot I done it...so the next day when I thinking of him, he had called! And he said” is this Jamila, is this Jamila, This is (not going to tell you his name) remember me from the coffeehouse the other day, your dad gave me your number s...o do you remember me?" and I said I don't remember you.” and that all I can tell you. It’s to long, but the reason why I said I don't remember him, because he lied to me, so I lied back to them. I know it wasn't right, but don't want the same thing happen to me like at school with the popular jock.
Anyway, my second crush was at my job, he works at food and I work at rides, by the way, I had worked at 'Six Flags Great America'. and I barely saw him and time I did he always have a munch of girls around him, like the guy at my school, But he don't even know my name, but he like's me, It's to long to tell you everything, but it's extremely interesting, I mean extremely interesting.
I wish I could tell you more but it would be like a book! Also all of this I had told you I made it into a comic and a book also. It has is a Reality TV Show of my life!

My ex used to think this too. Very weird or coincidental stuff would always be happening to him (or us if I was with him). He used to always say, "It's for my movie." Very Truman Showesque.

I personally don't believe in religion, but I do think things happen they way they are supposed to. Kind of how events are portrayed in Donnie Darko with tunnels, and sometimes those "tunnels" connect in strange ways.

That is the great thing of "soaps" and "reality shows", they are so general that many people feel that THIS IS their life. :(
One main reason I do not get into them.
