in some countries people believe in arranged marriages. the parents just pick the bride/groom for their son/daughter. do you think this is a good way to get married? i mean, sometimes arranged marriages work out....parents may sometimes no wat they're doing =]
and besides there are less divorces with arranged marriages.
there are so many divorces with ppl that marry the person of their choice....
so wat do u think?

well an arranged marriage are usually for status and dowery's but like other people already said i dont think their any worse than regular marriages seeing how alot fail. i dont know somewhere these past few generations people just forgot what a marriage should be like

In case of arranged marriages: I think marrying someone you don't love or - worse - don't know at all as a person is way worse than a divorce!
You can't love someone by force! But you can choose to marry someone you love and when you do that... divorce is like never an option... You need to know what you want when you get married!

I don't believe in arranged marriages. I think people have the right to pick who they want to kiss, hold, look at everyday, and hang out together everyday.
Divorces happen because.... you learn later on that the person you married wasn't "THE ONE". And that's why I think people should hold off on marriage til at least 3 years of knowing each other.... that way they know FOR SURE. lool.
But yea.... people aren't stupid. And we have minds you know.... ^_^. We just tend to sometimes not use our minds.
Anyways.. i see cookies on the table. here's SOME of my opinions. lol

I believe in arranged marriages. If you would have asked me that 10 years ago, I probably would have laughed. Obviously, marriage in America is becoming somewhat of a joke. Maybe parents do know what's best for their children.

wait, fall in love with some one who is your world and vice versa i don't believe in arrangements what if you totally hate that person but you are bound by duty are you willing to take the chance to possibly be miserable the rest of your life ,not a game i would want to play
