Oy.
Has it perhaps occurred to you that religious Jews, living in Jewish enclaves such as New York, may want the same fast, cheap food that McDonald's patrons enjoy?
There are in fact many kosher fast food restaurants worldwide. And yes, they are closed on the Sabbath.
As is the case, the Sabbath ends at nightfall on Sat. night and many will open after that Sat. night in which they do their best business.
For the record, not all kosher "fast food" has rapid service but does have the "greasy spoon" people love in "comfort food".

Now that you mention it, I probably DO want Chick-Fil-A more because I can't have it every time I want it. Like if I am at the mall on a Saturday, I might think, oh, better get some Chick-Fil-A, since it won't be open tomorrow! Even though I am a vegetarian, I love their fries and mint cookie shakes.
Even so, it does make me mad that they are closed on Sundays because the owner is Mormon. I don't think your idea would be as popular though, Sunday closures aren't as inconvenient for people as Saturday ones, because people are used to things being closed on Sundays. Also, Jewish people make up a much smaller proportion of the population, so a Saturday closure wouldn't make sense to most people.

Sunday is the day of rest. Sunday is a day for you to have dinner with your family not a fast food restaurant. Your idea sounds real interesting. Being closed on Sunday doesn't sound a bit unreasonable. Lots of restaurants are closed on Sundays and even Mondays. Everyone needs a break from work. Thumbs up I say go for it. Good Luck!

I haven't checked out the statistics, but I think chic-fil-a loses customers being closed on sunday. If I want to eat there, then I find it closed, i'm just going to go next door to Wendy's or somewhere else. Maybe I'll remember to come back later in the week.
Maybe it does attract some and gain respect, but I think their profits would be higher if they were just open.

haha, thats funny, im jewish. i know a yogurt place that is owned by jews and has alot of kosher toppings, that is open all days of the week. i think a kosher fast food place would be very successful, because the only kosher places to eat are restaurants or pizza. they should do a burger place or something lol. i dont keep strict kosher though so im good with going out to non kosher places.

yeah i think its a great idea! kosher food is expensive, espcially meat, and it would be great if you can make 1$ menu too! cute! just make sure to get an orthodox kosher symbol (thats recognized by all jews- its the strictest one)
