My favorite restaurant is a place that provides good food and good service and has items that are priced reasonably. It's about value and what I want at the moment. If it's fast food I want then I will choose Arby's, Burger King, McDonalds or Taco Bell. If I'm in the mood for something a little nicer, then there's Applebee's, Olive Garden or a favorite little deli in town that also has wine tastings. If it's more elegance I want, then it's off to the better hotels in the area whose restaurants are well known for their consistency. My favorite would be Murphy's in downtown Prescott, AZ.

No chains please. Give me a privately owned restaurant
where the cooking is so often so surprisingly great, you stay
with them.
And we've found that in a large Chinese buffet north of the
city where we live, in Hazel Dell, Washington. There are more
entrees than we've ever seen for Chinese food before. And
there is such a variety and everything is made to attract you
that you can't choose very many or your plate will overflow.
And when you are done with dinner or lunch, there's the
dessert bar where you can have a variety of sweet things,
and if that doesn't get it, there's the self serve soft ice cream
machine. We always get a small cone on our way out. Our
little Chihuahuas' expect a treat when they've waited for us
in the car, so we let them finish our ice cream cones, and
they love it naturally.

I enjoy a good independent restaurant and this way, the money stays in that town instead of being spread out nationwide in a chain

In & Out and Olive Garden. McDonald and other fast food restraunts are nasty. Did you know a single hamburger comes for 100 different cattle? Talk out lovin' it.
