Guilty as charged... but yes, I do think it should be. In my old town, they had a law that was worded something like "driving while distracted" (no kidding), and that included being on your phone.

If people stopped talking on the phone while driving, most accidents would probably be prevented.

It should be against the law, but then there would be a massive civil war. People just can't stop talking.

Very much so! If not just for the fact that they can not pay their total attention to what is going on around them. Within the past month a man was killed because he was on the phone getting directions. I don't want some one killing me or mine because of it.
