The greed of US corporations matched by the failure of the government to check for safety violations on imports have threatened us through the food chain and now the toys we import have too much lead in the paint. It is time for US corporations to crack down on foreign imports. If those toys had been made in the us our children would not have been exposed to lead contamination. Congress continues to waste time attacking Bush instead of doing it's job and protecting the people.

As long as there's money to be made you can count on the government to crack down on Chinese imports. About ten or twelve years from now, maybe longer.
