is there any way to get a smart phone without the internet on it, or do you need to get the internet added to the plan?.. and what phone would you recommend for sprint, i had the moto q , and had nothing but problems with it, so i just got a regular sanyo m1.. any suggestions?

Yes, any smartphone except BlackBerries you can get without a data plan. I recommend the Mogul.

The Moto Q is a really nice phone. I'll bet your problems had more to do with your signal strength and not your phone or service provider. Changing phones will not solve your problem. Go to the website listed below and see if the info doesn't apply to you. This website is very good with lots od useful info and really good links! It's worth reading because if all you do is change phones and your in a weak signal area, your problems aren't going to go away. You might need a cell phone antenna and amplifier!

well the point of a smartphone is 2 have email and web everywhere u go. a regualr phone would be good if u do not need that stuff. yes u can get smartphones w/o a data plan, but they cost more.
