Yes, I'm sure both will eventually be broken. Human characteristics like determination and the ability to play with pain can be applied to breaking any type of "consecutive game playing" record... it Lou Gehrig's record of 2,130 consecutive games can be broken (shattered, actually) by 500 games, there's no reason to think that Favre's record can't be broken. And for 50 years, if anyone asked what the most unbreakable record in sports is, the answer was always "2,130 straight games".
And yeah, we all know that baseball and football aren't the same. But at least in football, if you get hurt, you have a week off, possibly two if you're lucky.
Of course, if his starts record were to be broken, it would not be broken by an ordinary individual, but by an exceptional one. But it's silly to think it could never happen.
The more you read about the history of sports, the more you realize how many "unbreakable" records are actually quite breakable. Sometimes the conditions of a game change in such a way as to make some records unbreakable (Cy Young's 511 wins, e.g.), but just about any type of "concecutive game playing" record can be broken, even Ripken's....

Maybe not the MVP record, but as much as I'd hate to say, his most consecutive starts may by Peyton Manning. He's already over half way there, and he's the least sacked QB in the league for starters over the last several years. He's got a good o-line and he gets rid of the ball so quick. But if he misses any games, then I'd say no, it will never be broken.

His starter record is going to be very hard to beat and will take many years for someone to even come close. I think it will be a long time before someone breaks his MVP record, too. He is the best!!!

Its possible. Hitting in 56 games in a row or 500 wins as a pitcher seem to be the only safe records.
