The biggest concern you should have is not the mailman, it's the company itself (or its employees). If the company specifically requested cash, then it was most likely a scam (legitimate companies tell you NOT to send cash). If you just took it upon yourself to send cash, then your only concern should be the honesty of the person opening the mail.

Good luck.

It is never wise to send cash through the mail. After all even if it is received unelss you sent it registered ,return receipt requested, then you have no proof that it ever arrived.

Chances are if you hid the money inside a piece of paper and it was not visable through the envelope it will make it.

Now it just depends if the person on the other end is honest. In the future you should send a postal money order or check or some more secure transaction.

Good Luck.

Cash sent by mail is not ALWAYS stolen. It is still a very unwise thing to do. Assuming everyone involved is honest, there are still to many ways for the money to disappear. There are stories every few months about bags of undelivered mail found YEARS after the fact. I work in a bank mail room. It is not uncommon to receive damaged mail because the only thing the Post Office could identify form the remains is our bank name on a check. If cash becomes loose in the mail, there is no way to determine where it came from.

not if they want to keep their job. You still should never send cash for an internet order, it's probably a scam and there is no way to cancel it. There are ways to make money working online from home, but you won't get rich off them and they're hard to find. Most everything that people advertise are scams anyway. I found a site stopinternetscams .net that someone posted on here and it's pretty helpful. It tells some of the newest scams and ways to make money online that aren't fake. It's just an info site and doesn't sell anything either.

i hate to be the bearer of bad news - but unless you really have a honest person at the other end i can see it now -- envelope comes to receiving clerk -- clerk opens envelop looks in side - looks around - money goes in pocket -- envelop goes in trash-- right now someone is drinking a toast to some unlucky person - you

The person on the other end who opens the envelope can very easily slip it into his/her pocket and not record the receipt of the cash.

Now in a perfect world this would not happen.
