This is probably one of the toughest questions of all. It is never easy when we lose someone we love and care about. All you can do is remember the reasons that person was your friend, the good times you had, the secrets you shared. I lost a good friend shortly after we graduated high school, that was 32 years ago and I still think of him now and again. The pain of his loss will always be with me but so too will the friendship we shared.

That's always a tough one. People cope in different ways. Most people would tell you to hold your head high and move on. That's a good thing to do, but I think it would be good for you to take some down time. Talk to people about how you're feeling. Take time to mourn. After that, see how you're doing. Things will work out for the best. I know you'll always miss you're friend, but things will eventually get better. I'll be praying for you.

Know that as bad as you feel now, and as unlikely as it seems, you Will eventually adjust and feel better. Turn to your other friends for support as soon as you can. They want to help.

I'm sorry for your loss. maybe paying your respects ocasionally would help. and if anyone ever says that you should talk about it, don't unless you want to.
