Lets' see. During the 1980's Republican Ronald Reagen ran from Lebanon and embolden the Muslim terrorist. In the year 2001 George W. Bush let 9/11 happen on his watch. What did Condi Say? Oh yea, "Who could have imagined anyone flying airplanes into buildings" while a report stating such a senario was sitting on the Presidents desk. Letting Bin Laden get away at Tora Bora. Letting Al Quaida regroup in Pakistan. Yes, the Republicans have done wonders for our national security. When the Democrats take control over the White House, I will breathe a sigh of relief that sanity and strength will be back in our government and it's abilities to handle our national security.
The real question is "Won't you ever learn?"

The Democratic led congress just passed a bill highly increasing port security as recommended by the bi-partisan 9/11 commission, they have also tried numerous times to implement recommendations from the, also bipartisan, Iraq study group. They have pushed desperately for talks with nations whose citizens have been bullied by America for their entire lives in hopes to undo the damage of our ridiculous foreign policy.

I agree that they could still do more, but the current administration is making the task more difficult with every day that passes. The real key to security is to stop giving other, desperate 3rd world countries a reason to justify the destruction of Americans and their interests, because at this point they have every reason to do just that.

Foreign policy is the president's job. He's a Republican. They did just get a bill passed to inspect cargo in foreign ports before it can ship here. We'll see if Bush vetoes it. Nat'l Security isn't worth the costs to Bush. Ask 12 million illegals.

They raised minimum wage and have investigated every member of the Bush administration. If they get the White House they will disband the military. That will show our enemies we mean business.

What has this administration done? Gone to war pre emptively? MAde the entire world contemptful of us, created more terrorists?

We could do great things if Bush would put down his sabre and his veto pen and actually think things through. Oh, and stop towing the party line too. But even dems need to stop doing that.
