A white female or a black man for President?

Me: I think the republicans will rather see a black man in office before a woman regardless of race.

What do you think?

As a conservative republican and part of society, I have no problem with race, gender or whatever. It is the core values of the candidate that matter to me. I voted for Allen Keys when he sought the nomination and I tried to draft Jean Kirkpatrick to run. He is black she is a woman but they have the same values as I do. That is all that matters to me.

I do not like Hillary Clinton because she is a socialist. Other than being a woman, what does Hillary bring to the table?

Obama is too new and inexperienced. But he is definitely a force to be reckoned with in the future. If he manages to gain some more experience as a leader he may someday be president. He should try to become Governor, first. If he does well as Governor he will be hard to beat. He is still young enough to wait.

Believe me, if we could come up with a conservative woman like Margret Thatcher I would join her campaign immediately.

Of course, Hillary could fairly easily win the democratic nomination, but when that happens all of the right wing evangelical christians will come running, eventhough they'd know their candidate would do a far worse job, however, if Barack won the democratic nod, they might let that go for the betterment of the country. However, all in all, I personally prefer another Clinton White House, Barack has far too little international political experience.

i am a republican and id rather see someone that can put the country before their own selfish agenda's and if its a black white asian or a woman id vote for them but neither hillary or osma can do either one so guess what the votes they get will not be on their polical stand it will be because one is a black man and the other because she is a woman which is worse the voters or the runners?

A human of experience, honesty, equality, and concern for their people. That rules out all of the candidates so far.
Most people want a woman in office because they say that we need a woman president. No, we do not need a president based upon their gender. And I hear others say that a black president would be a nice change in office. No, we do not need a change in office based upon skin color.

I think if the only choice we have is between Borderline Hillary and too young and inexperienced Obama we will all loose. My honest prayer is that when the candidates are officially selected persons who can lead this country as the people want it led will be chosen regardless of race or sex.

I don't think the U.S. is ready for a woman president yet. I think that they would rather hire a black man for president.

I think either one would do a better job then Bush's dumb ***!!

(YOU & ME!!)

FYI!! A BLACK WOMAN IS NO MORE A STRONGER WOMAN THAN A WHITE! SO STOP YOUR STEREOTYPING LIES TO MAKE YOURSELF FEEL BETTER!

to be honest i think it is going to be the white lady, because ive heard alot of people's opinions and everybody seems to be going for hillary, either because they think shes pretty (which she is not) or cause weve never had a women president...to average people this is what they think, and then obama...they dont care about...thats just what ive hard hundreds of people say....theirs more of course...

I agree with you. They will be fighting very hard not to have a woman as president.
