It wasn't polygamy (but it did have an "a"). It's supposed to be like some group you can "join" or something...I don't know. It's weird.

You might be thinking of Polyamory which is love shared between more than 2 people. It's quite complex and usually fraught with relationship problems unless all parties are mature about sharing and uncompetitive. Possibly a precursor to poligamy but not necessarily, I'd suppose. Have a look on Wikipedia for polyamory if you want more info.

Polygyny=multiple wives; polyandry=multiple husbands. Polygamy=multiple spouses (wives OR husbands).

Polygyny is multiple wives, polygamy is multiple spouses, Bigamy is multiple spouses in a legal sense, polyamory is having multiple loves with or without marriage. polyandry is multiple husbands. Monogamy is one mate to one mate. Serial monogamy is one maye to multiple mates one-at-a-time.
However, some of your answers are a little judgemental and ethnocentric about love, brainwashed with the idea that men and women are all supposed to be procreative and are somehow--in spite of their biology--monogamous.
Which is really bizarre in a way if you actually look at people.
