How do I take the timing gear on a1990 s10 truck ?

I was tring to put a timimig chaing in my 1990 s10 truck and icould not get the creak gear off. what should I do?

might need a puller. usually not but i have had some stubborn ones before. just don't screw up the threads in the end of the crank with the puller. good luck

you couldnt get the crank gear off ??? use a puller
