I guess I don't care about it too much, I'm not a seafood fan and I've heard that the nervous system of a lobster is too simple for it to feel any pain at all, similar to insects.
Do you think its cruel?

My god no I'm not going to do it. People settle down some of you are getting a little "emotional" over this. I've never tried tasting it never plan to.. geez

I read that putting them in the freezer for 4-5 minutes then into the boiling water is the most humane, but I've never done it. Oops I forget, hell yes I like lobster and no I don't think it's cruel.

Yes extremely, would you like to be crawling around alive and kicking and the next minute stuck in boiling water left to die!?
No yuo wouldnt like it so why would you put another creature through it!
It doesnt matter what kind of nervous system they have they still feel some amount of pain!
Dont do it please!...

They must feel something because they make a hell of a noise when you put them in the water. I think it's pretty cruel.

There is a proper way to do it and no I don't feel it is cruel.

I don't have a problem with it. I've never had lobster before, but I have had my fair share of crawfish over the years.

I dont eat lobster. The thought of throwing something alive into a pan of boiling water makes me feel sick to my stomach...........
