Major brand of mayonnaise is called Hellman's in the eastern part of the U.S. and it's called Best Foods in the west, same company makes both. Only difference between Miracle Whip and Best Foods mayo is Miracle Whip adds a little sugar, that's why it's a little sweeter. Both products are made from light cooking oil, vinegar and eggs.

Maybe it's just because of the added sugar, but I love Miracle Whip. However, I wouldn't turn down mayo if there was no MW left.

Miracle whip tastes better to me, but my mother gets regular Mayonnaise because she says it's more healthy.

No question...MIRACLE WHIP. I am a little too much like the commercial...If I start to make a sandwich and there is no miracle whip I sometimes skip it.
