my boyfriend and i of a year and a half decided to have sex for the first time on july 30th. we did it again on july 31st and used a condom both times. neither condoms broke, but im still worried about getting pregnant. am i being completely foolish?

he bought me pregnancy tests, but its wayy too soon to take them. and im scheduled for a sports physical very very soon (within the next week) where it is required for them to give me a pregnancy test. will the test at my physical be able to read if im pregnant or not if its before my missed period? or are they crazily high tech or something.

please help me. im worried sick.

thank you.

those pregnancy test are the same as you would take at home. Yes it is too soon. I highly doubt your pregnant. If you keep having sex with a condom your gonna worry yourself to death wondering if your pregnant

First, and let me preface this by saying I'm not in any way trying to be rude, but if you are this worried and anxious over having protected sex twice maybe abstinance is the way to go for you. I would hate for you to be like this every month.
Second, when was your last period? Did you have sex during the time when you would be ovulating? If you have a normal cycle, that would be about 12 to 16 days after the first day of your last period.
Third, you can't test for pregnancy until much closer to when you expect your next period to come. Some ladies can get a positive test as early as 5 days before they expect their period but most need to wait until the day they expect it or a few days after.
I hope everything turns out ok!

If you used the condom properly there should be little reason that you are pregnant.. It's definetly NOT foolish to worry about gettting pregnant and if you are worried it may be best to use a "back up" method to be on the safer side.. You could go on the pill, you could use a spermicide or VCF (vaginal contraceptive film) all are relatively inexpensive and easy to use.. The pill you need a perscription for and it takes about a month to work and you need to take it at the same time everyday... I like the VCF it's odorless, tasteless and you can't feel it..It last 7-8hrs and there's no mess... They are roughly $1 a piece and available at any drugstore or planned parenthood.. Good luck

If you used a condom each time & neither one broke then you should be fine. Your right it WAY to early to take a pregnancy test since it just happened. I found out I was pregnant at 3 weeks after having sex but just b/c I missed my period. I serioiusly doubt they would run a pregnancy test on your during your physical I don't remember them running one on my when I was in school. I suggest if you are so worried about getting pregnant that you should stop having sex!

Well, as a woman, I would tell you to use a birth control method that is more reliable so you wont be so worried all the time. You should always have a back-up plan like a spermicide with a condom anyway, because accidents do happen. Breaks, spills, slipping off while he's inside you... if this relationship is serious, and sex is going to be consistent, then you need a serious and consistent means of BC.

If you used condoms, and they did not break, and there was no chance of precum near your vagina before he put the condom on, then you are fine. You will not get an accurate result out of a normal pg test if you test before your first missed period. There are some like the brand name EPT that can test a few days before your scheduled period, but I would wait and take a test on the first day of your missed period, and use first morning's urine as that will be the urine that would contain the most HCG. Good luck!

If they do a urine test it will be slightly more sensitive then the average test if they do a blood test then it will pick up on the smallest amounts of HCG. If the embryo has not implanted yet you will pry not get a reliable answer. You generally ovulate around the 15th day of your cycle if you have normal periods so good luck.

If I keep in mind, Oxfordshire social amenities defended their overlook to deliver in CID after the 1st verifiable criticism became into because of the fact the youngsters in contact have been susceptible and helpless and hence incapable of accumulating in adequate evidence to press fees, or keen to confront overwhelming tension from the perpetrators. Why then are there Age of Consent regulations? Why are human beings employed with the aid of the police and social amenities at significant rate to the Council Tax payer, notably to guard people who're susceptible and helpless and incapable of pressing fees on their own? yet yet another advantageous boss given an advantage, whilst she could have have been given the sack for gross negligence. If i might properly be sacked from County corridor, and having my pension cancelled because of the fact I also have a beard and did no longer slot in, actual that's a risk to sack a negligent officer? some could argue that being a Muslim is beside the point to the crime, or possibly a defence to it. i think of there is a few justification in making a criminal profile on people who belong to a faith or a society that makes healthful relationships between men and girls folk very nearly impossible. Feminists (who evaluate classic marriage demeaning to women folk), please additionally take notice.

well, if you're that freaked out i'd say stop having sex. or at least get on the pill TOO, esp in case it does break.

i doubt you're pregnant. there's always the possibility, but it's very small.
