Last time I wore 'em I was in a friends wedding and had to walk down a staircase..my feet went out from under me and my dress rode all the way up my back exposing my womanhood to the muchly-entertained crowd. Oh, does it hurt?? HELL YEAH. But that's the second reason why I no longer wear them.

Your feet will hurt for awhile. But the heels will eventually get more comfortable over time. You don't have to wear them every single day but the majority of the days. Otherwise you will never get used to them. But throwing in a day of flats here and there is not a bad idea to keep the calves healthy and mix up the style. You can also try different sizes and different brands of heels. Believe it or not, there is a difference and some are more comfortable than others. Your shoe size may even change slightly depending on the brand! So if this something you are going to be wearing often, make sure you have a good quality shoes and a nice fit. I wear heels to school a lot. I love them. Get a lot more attention. They make me feel good, feminine, and has really opened up a ton of options as far as style. And I've actually gotten to a point where I do find them comfortable. But I wear them almost daily.

Yes, I avoid them at all cost. I usually only wear them to a formal occasion, and even then I take them off when I sit at a table.

Yes. I can't stand high heels. They are bad for your feet, your knees, and your back.
