OUR PREDIDENT, GEORGE W. BUSH, any suggestion/s of help, assistance, advise, incouragement, in his administering the day to day happenings ??? I can not think of any, not even one!! I hear a lot of accusations, a lot of hot air, worlds of smoke being blown ON BOTH SIDES, BUT I DO NOT REMEMBER ANYONE MAKING ANY SUGGESTION OF HELP!! AM I A HEAD ON BLIND SUPPORER OF GEORGE W. BUSH??? NO, - NO, - NO, - , BUT I DO BELIEVE THAT HE IS PRIVVY TO INTELLIGENCE MATTERS THAT CAN NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE KNOWN BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC !!!
BTW, TO POINT A FINGER AT ANOTHER, whether physically or verbally, remember this:: The word DUMB rhymes with THUMB !! The pointing person uses the DUMB THUMB to try to hide the 3 fingers that are pointing back at him !!!!! Think about what that pointer's 3 fingers are trying to tell everyone!!!!!!!

O.K. To me, and I regret that I am so dense, " GET OUT" means to 1. load the troups onto aircraft, and fly home ! 2. abandon the Iraqi underdogs who the majority will slaughter, 3. The terrorists , who went FAR, FAR, FAR out of their way, to strike us on 9 / 11, would have free reign to come after us again (FOLKS I HAVE BEEN IN THE MIDDLE EAST, WORKED WITH THESE PEOPLE, AND IF ANY OF YOU ARE SO NAIVE AS TO THINK THAT THE TERRORISTS ARE NOT BENT UPON ATTACKING US AND ANNIALATING US, FOLKS YOU ARE FULL OF BULLOS MANURAS!!! I HAVE BEEN IN THEIR MIDST, IN THEIR COUNTRY, IN THEIR CONVERSATIONS) !!!!! Sorry about that !!!!!
4. Yes, G.W. is hard headed !!! DAMN IT, I WELL REMEMBER THE MID 1950'S AND EARLY 1960'S WHEN I WAS IN THE ARMY!!!! L.B.J. WAS HARD HEADED, ALSO!!

HOW MANY TIMES DOES HE HAVE TO BE TOLD TO CHANGE COURSE IN IRAQ, HE DOESN'T LISTEN TO HIS OWN GENERALS, WHEN THEY DISAGREE HE REPLACES THEM. UNCLE WIL HE HAS BEEN INCAPABLE OF LISTENING TO IDEAS EVEN FROM HIS OWN PEOPLE. COLIN POWELL TOLD HIM IT WAS A BAD IDEA TO INVADE IRAQ BECAUSE THE OCCUPATION COULD BE NEVER ENDING. HE RESIGNED AFTER BEING IGNORED FOR SO LONG. HE DOESN'T LISTEN. PEOPLE HAVE TRIED!!!!

... you started to sound like a Kindergarten teacher there at the end.. nothing personal....

anyway.. Many of Bush's advisers told him up front that

A. Taking out Saddam was a bad idea

B. If he was going to do it, he needed to go in with 350k troops

He decided not to listen... things went bad.. so here we are now.. .. people are making their own suggestions.. such as Get the troops out, or Set benchmarks.. but he still doesn't listen. He does what he wants to do.. not what anyone else has suggested.. His ONLY good move so far has been to appoint Patreaus.. at least he has a brain and tells it like it is.

Congress has come up with numerous plans to get us out of Iraq or change the mission, all of which have been blocked by the Republicans in the Senate or vetoed by Bush. The Iraq study group made recommendations, all of which were ignored by the president. he has had plenty of suggestions, but has chosen to ignore them, which makes this his war.

Give me a break.

The Democratic candidates, the new media, (or others), did NOT invade Iraq and get our country in this mess.
George Bush did.
It has turned into a catastrophic mistake.
It ain't their mess to clean up.

We remember the intelligence he had on Iraq, which he lied about.
Any suggestion would be met with "That wouldn't work"
Take the Iraq advice of "get out" which he has received many time

He has made it quite clear that he will not take advice from congress, at least not the Democrats in congress. As for the news media, it isn't their job to help make policy, their job is to report on the effects of said policy.

What are you saying? The decider needs advice? He doesn't listen when something is offered? I think people have given up on him. Spoiled rich, arrogant, brats are often that way.

Pelosi did.

Her first action was to leave the Country and go get snug with an enemy.

Amen to her "marking her side"
