I didn't call him a name or anything remotely close to that. I just simply disagreed with him. How does one expect to find the truth if one is not willing to listen to all sides? Does he just want people to inflate his ego?

It is equivalent to when a child puts their hands over their ears and says, "la la la la la" because their pitiful worldview might shatter if exposed to the truth.

I pity the poor, craven cretins who do this. Must suck to be them.

I did consider doing it back in retaliation, but that thought died quickly. I said to myself, "What kind of cowardly scumbag would try to insulate themselves on a public forum? You'd be nothing but a lowly piece of whaleshit if you prevented people from answering your questions or from writing you because you couldn't handle opposing ideas."

The worst thing about doing it is if everybody does it, then they waste their time preaching to the choir simply so they can have their egos stroked and their feelings validated. Only the truly wretched would do that.

Anyone who feels need to label himself/herself something like "Truthseeker" is likely not so much seeking truth as seeking to convince others of what he/she sees as truth.

Sounds like he is a Bush lemming and he has a brown nose. A lot of the lemmings are like that if you disagree with their irrational views.

You think any Lib is gonna tolerate disagreement ? Free speech is only good as long as you agree with them. As soon as you disagree or bring an alternate view point, you are a hate monger
