what is it? For the last few months, several times an hour, all day long, randomly, the following sounds/ audio clips come out of my computer: a lion's roar / an idiotic laughter (hi hi hi) / a woman's voice saying "access denied". What the HGHJTU%? It's completely random, doesn't correspond to any action i'm taking on the computer.... whether I have 1 or several programs opened. What is it? How do I get rid of it? Is anyone hearing the same things????

It can be a spam, virus, or something like.

Hi. I would do a search for all .wav files first. You can click on each one to hear it. When you find the sound then look at the directory path. This will point you in the direction of the program (an '.exe' file) that needs to be deleted.

You've got some serious system issues going on here. You've probably got some hidden window process going and its defecting the command order. Try pressing ctrl+alt+del and then going to processes. Look for something that has to do with sounds, and end the process. Then restart.

I've heard of it before on the radio from komando.com. It's a bug and it's hard to get rid of. That's all I know.
