Yeah, he showed great leadership qualities by taking up for his teammate. Dude was in the wrong for putting the receiver in a choke hold...during practice! Afterwards he even squashed the beef. He's fiery, and that is what the Titans need after losing so many players. He'll have to improve his passing ability and read defenses better, but damn, he's only coming into his second year, everybody is on his case about his QB rating. Give him a couple of years, and if his QB rating is still low, then you can bash, him. I just don't understand how some people can come on here and bash a rookie quarterback, get real!

It is a bit early to be paying any tributes to VY. Especially if you are talking about his pro career. This guy won a few games, no doubt. But this year the defenses will be more aware of him, and his passing accuracy needs to improve to be considered a threat. He will be a good QB, in the same vein as Michael Vick (without the other drama though), but I don't see him being an elite QB a la Brady, Palmer, P. Manning, Steve Young, Montana, Elway ect.

I think he stinks and he is horribly overrated. Everyone says how he is so good, I don't see it. He had a 66 QB rating, a 50 percent completion percentage, more interceptions than touchdowns, and he made the worst play I have ever seen. For those of you who don't know what I am talking about, he threw the ball behind him with his opposite throwing arm to avoid getting hit, and it got intercepted. He can run, sure. But look at where that got Mike Vick, no where, and Vince can't run nearly as well as Vick. So what does that make Vince Young? That makes him a horribly overrated QB who should not be asking what play to run, he should be asking, "Paper or plastic?"

All Hail Vince Young!
His career best 66.7 passer rating was truly something to behold. The 50-55 he'll turn in this year will be even more impressive!

Way way to early to tell. He's lost most of his offensive weapons from last year - WRs, RBs, parts of his OL and with the losses on the D he'll have a tough year even coming close to matching last years limited success. I see the Titans at 6-10 maybe 7-9 at best

Vince Young thats my boy right there, how do people say he's overrated when he won the national championship with texas LOL thats ludacris. Nobody thought they could beat usc and he single handedly beat them.
Nobody thought he can make it in the nfl and he single handedly took over games. He's a leader.

So far I like what I see out of him. I live in the Nashville area and get to see/hear/read Titans news alot. He had a very successful rookie season as far as wins/losses go, and his leadership skills are outstanding. The guy is quick as a cat and is learning how to become an NFL QB. If he stays healthy, he will be very successful.

I thought he was deffinatly maturing with the letter he sent out to all of his teammates thanking them for the year before and hoping for another good one but, he threw that in the trash when he got in a fight yesterday during training camp.
Other than the team issues i think soon he could be one of the best QB's in the league....hands down.

i think it is to early to tell if he is going to be a good all around quarterback or if he is going to be a micheal vick clone who cant pick up defenses and only runs with the ball but either way he is going to carry the titans with his raw talent. all im really sayin is if he could form into a better passer (and im not saying he wont) he will be the most dangerous QB in da NFL.
