Do a strip tease,
lay out milk and cookies for him,
hold up a paper that says "Friendly ghosts wanted".

What are you 12?

I once read this in a book of spells, not sure if it really works or not though:
Light a candle and flick a wand twice over it. Repeat this incantation:

As the crackle of the candle proceeds and persists,
remembrance of loved once who are surely missed.
For one last conversation, crumpets and tea,
bring the one that has gone from me.

Supposedly, the spell connects you with a diseased loved one.

The counterspell:
As our time together melts like the candle,
I put this picture back on the mantle.
The crumbs that remain and tea leaves so soggy,
my memories are now much less foggy.
Return (cite name here) to where he belongs,
our time together was so short--yet long.

I remain skeptical of magic, not sure if it exist or not, but anything's possible.

Seriously...what is wrong with you? I'm sorry, but honestly, why not get a real friend, huh? don't get why you want a deceased spirit as a friend, when you could very easily get a living, breathing one. Yikers, the questions people ask these days -_-

You can't.

You can try researching Necromancy, but if you do, you basically drag the being there against its will, so if it was friendly it wouldn't be for long.

You can't. The spirit is either there or not. You can't have one as a "pet".
