All Bonds would have to do to hit an inside the park homerun is the same thing Ichiro did, hit it off that wall and have it go in a totally different direction from where the fielder figured the call would go. Anyone would have had an inside the park homerun on that thing!

anyone who thinks he can get an inside the park home run is crazy, he is super slow, slow on steroids. No matter how awkward the balls bounces off a wall, the outfielders can throw a bullert and nail him at 2nd base
thats rite second, he is slow
in the All Star game, Griffey Jr had the ball by the time Ichiro scored,
do u know how fast ichiro is? Bonds would barely be at 2nd

No way in a million years would that happen. The ball would have to magically stay in the air for 3 minutes then fall inside the park without anybody catching it.

Unless all three outfielders had simultaneous heart-attacks following the ball being hit, I doubt Bonds could round the bases quick enough.

If all 3 outfielders fall down and break their ankles, it maybe possible. It would be okay if he hit 755 that way, then collapsed after he crossed home plate.. never to play again. He hardly even deserves to TIE the record let alone break it.

The sad thing is that when he breaks it, 7 years from now we will have to deal with ARod breaking the record. That is almost as bad.

It would be unusual because the fielders would have to act like the Bad News Bears for Barry to hit one. His speed is non-existent, so it's an impossibility.

Great for who? The team that gave up the homer? No, they would die of embarrassment and harrassment from the fans. Great for Barry? No he would die from exhaustion. It's a lose-lose situation.

I would be cool, but a little impossible for Bonds. He's too slow. Only way would be on errors.

The bases would have to be 10 feet apart..

Someone would have to carry him off on a stretcher because of his knees. He might not be able to enjoy it until the next day.
