I can't see how there can be a right or wrong answer to this question because both are packed with all-stars and either could win on any given day. But, for the sake of your question I will pick squad 2 with the final score 1-0. Santana strikes out 14 and Peavy 12. Papelbon retires them in order in the 9th inning for the save. Good pitching will always overcome good hitting. How is this for a possible scenario.
