Hillary - she is the conservative choice, the establishment candidate, it would be a smooth transition which would be good for security...I'm not sure conservatism is what I want though

Obama - someone new and from my generation but lacking in the experience and wisdom of age (which has been a problem for the last 2 presidents)

Republicans - I'm tired of the Republican bs

I'm still undecided

I'll preface this by saying I have no problem crossing party lines to choose a candidate that I feel is better in the long run for the country.

I will vote for Obama in the primary at least. The reason being that of all the candidates out there now, he is the least likely to follow the "poll driven decision making" process that dogs much of Washington now. I can't bring myself to be excited about Clinton or Edwards. If Gore jumps in, I won't support him. He should have manned up and jumped in by now and if he somehow jumps in to be savior of the party it rings hollow to me. At least with Obama, it may be the right stand or the wrong stand, but he's at least ready to come off the fence and TAKE A STAND.

I am honestly waiting to hear a coherent voice out of the Republicans but as of yet, I haven't heard more than one theme politicians beating either the immigration drum or the Iraq drum. Rudy has taken a stab at health care. Not a big change in the status quo so why even say it except to insure that you get drug company money. McCain is imploding which is fine with me. His stand on immigration just frosted me. Mitt is a Mormon. OK. I get it. Some interesting ideas.

But, I'd still vote for Obama because I want a change. If you want change you don't pick from the same pack of old horses.

I'd vote for a McCain/Lieberman ticket. I don't agree with all of their views but these guys are pretty Centrist and don't tow the party line. With McCain, just because he's Republican doesn't mean that he sides with Bush all the time and with Lieberman, just because he was a Demo now Indy allied with Dems doesn't mean that he just automatically disagrees with everything Bush does.

They are very pragmatic.

I also like Richardson from the Demo side because he's not so filled with hate that he can't see straight.

On the GOP I do like Thompson's presence. Now if he can only reinstill a sense of national pride ala Reagan or Kennedy... that would be something.

Even though I am not American I have been following your election candidates reading about them and watching them on Youtube. I like Hilary Clinton and I asked a friend who lives in the states if thought Hilary Clinton will get elected and she seemed to think not I think there is too much history with Hilary Clinton. Barak Obama is very charismatic and I think he'll go quite along way. I think Clinton and Obama should work together and put the backbiting away I think that way they will get elected but I could be wrong. John Edwards I really like he comes as the most honest in my opinion he cares about health care and I think he has some fight in him.
I haven't been following the republican candidates so I can't comment on them. I wish you all luck in picking your next president.

Barack Obama because he is
A) Stong on Enviromental Issues and Reform
B) Strong on Energy Issues to reform oil usage or standardize consumption by the use of Ethanol
C)Primary cosponsor of the Lead Poisoning Reduction Act, which aims to protect children from toxic lead poisoning.
D) Supports civil union & gay equality.
E) REAL USA Plan: Reward companies that create domestic jobs.
F)Smokes cigarettes now but his wife has a national campign that if you see him smoking let her know; smoked some pot in high school.
At least he admits to it in my eyes.

G) Wants to try and guarantee affordable life-long, top-notch education.
H) Believes US policy should promote democracy and human rights.
I) Has a healthcare reform plan.
There is much more on this website and it is easy to read. Not just one big article.

I will vote for a third party canditate..likely a libertarian. No longer will I support dufuses from the two main parties.

BTW...for Gore and Edwards supporters who love their plans on "Global Warming"....don't you find it odd that they each have "plans" for a phenomenon that only exists in the imagination of the left and of the media?

Keep voting for the major parties people and you'll get what you deserve.....sigh

Definately not Hilary...I personally just don't trust her at all. I do like Obama though and i'm a Republican. :-) I've listened to a lot of his speeches and i'm strongly considering voting for him if he wins the democratic primary, but we have to get through that first....Denver should be interesting!

Haven't decided yet.

I have seen so much about Ron Paul on YA that I went to his website and he is a valid candidate. Bur I am more green than conservative.

I will most likely vote for the democratic nominee, who will most likely be Hillary CLinton. I'm not a huge fan, but i think she will do better than any of the republican candidtates. Another option would be to vote for an independant. they won't win, but the more votes they get, the more funding they will get next time. I truly think we need a viable third party.

I would vote for Ron Paul, because he's a constitutionalist. All Dems and Repubs are tools and puppets of international banking and corporate interests, and don't care about Americans.
