I'm sick and tired of the Red Sox/Yankees rivalry being referred to as the best. Its too different cultures and two different fan bases. Its a completley different rivalry. For example Red Sox/Yankees fans just yell at each other but never do anything. Seriously I live in New York and they just yell at each other and never do anything. I went to a Dodger/Giants game and there were so many fights in the stands and so much food thrown I'm suprised Giants fans even go. A Dodgers fan shot a Giants fan in the Dodgers parking lot. There two different rivalries: You have the regular baseball fans who just root for the teams because they win all the time and then you have the West Coast fans whose teams suck but they're still absolutley nuts.

they think because they both have big fan bases that everyone is interested in them, stations like EPSN, FOX SPORTS, and websites like Yahoo, are loosing people because for the millions of fans they are gaining from only reporting Boston & New York, they are losing from fans of the other teams in the MLB.
Yahoo had a big thing about Clemens today, and the Yankees didn't even win, I have never seen a team get so much good press when they are losing, what a a bunch of crap, that's not even journalism.
OK I strayed off the question, sure Dodgers/Giants are big I never realized it until the All-Star game when they booed the Dodgers players coming up, then you know it must be a bitter rivalry between the two.

The Red Sox and Yankees rivalry gets to much attention but I'd prefer not to be shot by a Tigers fan.

Ddoger vs. Giants has a longer history of going back and forward. unlike the Red Sox Vs Yankees which one team got dominated for almost a century and just became a good rivalry the last four years.

Wow the Dodgers obviously don't suck look at the paper, ok? Lol i have never felt unsafe at a Dodger game. I love them they're really fun and entertaining. When did the fan get shot? I'm not doubting you I was just wondering... :)

Give me the East Coast Rival any day. We don't need violence. Sure the two teams are good, but that is because they are out buying up the best players to compete AGAINST each other. Personally I can't stand either team. On the other hand I'd rather be able to go to a game without threat of dying.
