Why are you? Do they not all work the same? Or is it just having the most power? lol I am very curious to know this.

Yes, some guys prefer Craftsmen tools because of the good quality, lifetime replacement warranty & they can be purchased at any Sears store.

well, i've just gone self-employed as a gardener.. and i insist on having the best - but also traditional wooden tools, like shears, rake....etc.. i buy all the same "Senator" hand crafted garden tools... and the finish they give is perfect...
i also just bought a £500 petrol lawn mower... fantastic mower!
and 3 very happy customers so far
I'm not into power...i'm into quality and tools that last the distance

When you are in the middle of a job, be it working on a car or around the house, the last thing you want is a tool that is prone to malfunction. In short, you want dependability and longevity, and that usually comes with a hefty price tag.

I do have the best. In all areas. I like to get the job done right. It's good to have the right tools for the job. And...no...they don't all work the same.

I buy good tools because they last longer. Downtime and crappy tools just make things harder, then you get mad and screw up. Yes some work better than others. Yes excess power is a good thing.

Strange but true. I have some good tools that are expensive. I would consider it the same kinda thing as owning expensive pots and pans.

i love my delta contractors table saw, power miter saw, and the other various tools i have. my girlfriend is especially fond of my tools also.
