My hubby and I have taken trips to Nova Scotia, St. Ignace, Mackinac Island, Maine, Connecticut, New York, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and various other providences of Canada. Where should we go on vacation? Quaint, charming towns are a plus. Historical factors are good. Wine country with tasting/tours is always good. Suggestions are welcome!

Thanks for your help and recommendations! :o)

Have you been in Vermont much? If not, check out the websight, vermont vacations.com.
Burlington northwards is known as the Northern Kingdom.
Incredible is all I can say. One of the most beautiful towns to visit is Peacham, Vermont. It is in the eastern part of the state. Cabot would be another great town to visit. Any part of Vermont from Burlington north would be worth checking into.

How about Hermann Missouri.... Wine, B & B's, Old Town historic buildings, Along The Missouri River, Good eating, Wineries.

You could Do Amtrak instead of your car Right into town Get off and have the B&B people pick you up or walk over.

Lake George, NY is a great place! Tons to do there, great sightseeing, and it has a lot of local history from the Revolutionary War.
