Since I'm going to be 18 this August 18th coincidentally, I'll finally have the chance to go out there and vote. However, I want to make a smart choice before I cast the ballot. Typically my family has voted Democrat because we are middle class, but I want to make an educated vote. So for now, I really have no favorite whatsoever. They're all diverse, but once the primaries come up I'll have a better chance of making a decision.

I will likely vote for the Democratic candidate, whoever that is. I am hoping for Edwards, or for Gore to get back in, but I would vote for Hillary or Obama if they got the nomination.
I certainly wouldn't vote for any of the Republican front runners.

Ron Paul.
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year (Seriously, who else would even think of doing this?)
Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.
Any more questions?

I am strongly leaning toward John Edwards.
I saw him speak last Sunday and he is a very dynamic speaker, doesn't mince words but is still polite to the other candidates and while unapologetic about being rich now, he does know what it is like to be poor.

I'll vote for the Republican candidate. i like their stance on starting wars to steal the Middle East's oil wealth for America. That's something I can support.

RON PAUL, BABY. He's the only one who's got the testicular fortitude to TELL IT LIKE IT IS.
Don't believe in the TERROR HYPE and all the BS from Cheney & Co. or Billary O'Bama. RON PAUL IS AMERICA'S ONLY HOPE.
Don't believe me? Check out his campaign website. I've never been affiliated with either corrupt party (Democrap or Repukelican), but after listening to RON PAUL, researching his voting record and reading his OWN WORDS, I will repeat: RON PAUL 2008----AMERICA'S ONLY HOPE.
