if you want to have the 33.43 and then the +15% in diff cells:
type 33.43 in A1 and in A2 =A1*1.15 and hit enter.
if you dont want the 33..43 on there at all:
type =33.43*1.15 in cell A1 and hit enter!

P.S if you dont want to keep typing in the cells just click on the cell that you want and it will put it in the formula for you!

and if you want to keep adding the 15% to a diff # just click on the bottom right hand corner of box B1 and drag it down.
this will give you the answers for the other numbers in column A!

If $33.43 is in cell A1, just assign the formulaic value =1.15*A1. Multiplying by 1.15 or 115% is the same thing as adding 15%.

say that cell A1 contains $33.43 and cell B1 is addition of 15% to it:

=(1.15*$A$1)

the "$" signs locks that function - in this case the row and column..

Adding 15% is the same as multiplying by 1.15.

So you'd have the cell formula be
=SUM(CELLNUMBER)*1.15
