That sux for San Antonio getting a bunch of underachievers at least the mavs would get that championship they've been crying about.

You might as well change the teams names while your at it! The Spurs aren't going to do anything new for as long as they are still a great dynasty, granted they are boring but they are winning a lot! The Mavs have won 0 championships with that team and the Spurs have won 3! Tim Duncan isn't gonna be traded ever so you people thinking he will.. stop thinking it.. Poppevich loves Tim Duncan and he will never trade him for anything! The Spurs are boring and are going to STAY boring until their starters retire and ther young guns take their places in the top ranks of the NBA.

as a fan of neither of these teams, SA loses this deal because they give up their big 3, which is more valuable than the 5 from Dallas (not to mention that you are throwing that pest/subtle foul machine Bruce Bowen in there).

its basically the same for both teams. They take their 8 man nucleus and just shift it to another city. Not much difference here except that dallas saves some cap by getting rid of dampier.
