I've got this weird thing going, where when I read a book I can hear the accents in my head. Then I start talking like that. It is really bad with southern accents because I'm from the sticks, and I fall back into that too easy. But I have caught myself talking in accents from New England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Minnesota, and many others.
It doesn't happen as bad with movies, but a book really gets into my subconscious.

it sound like an italian accent , but not a heavy 1 like the ones that u hear on tv

People tell me that I have a slight southern accent.. I don't think I do but everyone from other states say people around here do.

No. DC natives (and semi-natives) don't have accents. We all sound like Dan Rather.

Yes I do, at least everyone tells me. I can't "hear" myself so I don't know. I live in Maine but came here from Boston so I guess I sound "Bostonian".
