The x-intercept is the point at which the curve crosses the x-axis. To find the x-intercept, set y = 0, since y = 0 for points on the x-axis.

5y - 2x = 15
5(0) - 2x = 15
0 - 2x = 15
-2x = 15
x = -7.5, or (-7.5, 0)
