By hand is of course the best way....but who the heck has time for that? 8>)
Go to WalMart, K-Mart or what have you and buy a mesh laundry bag....they make "lingerie bags" but they are the same thing for twice the price!
Wash in cold, on a delicate/handwash cycle if you have one. I highly recommend WOOLITE or better yet PUREX BABY as your detergent.
Depending upon what they are made of, be VERY careful about fabric softener....it works by actually loosening the fibers in garments and can ruin the "stretch" and fit of delicate unmentionables!
GOOD LUCK!

my washer has a delicates cycle, i use that with original formula woolite and hang everything to dry. i don't use my dryer for delicates. now and again, i hand wash everything, but it't time consuming. either way, i don't put any of it in the dryer. it wears the elastic and fades the colors over time. besides, it causes fuzzies to develop on the material.

If you wear and underwire bra get yourself a brababy.. It's a egg/bowl shaped device you put your delicate bra into and it safely washes it in the washing machine..good luck

I know it sounds funny, but take them into the shower with you and use the same soap on them that you use on your body. If it's safe for your body it's safe for you because it touches you. Then just let them drip dry. Or, you could put them in the gentle cycle with Woolite.
I know the first sounds crazy, but a girl at Victoria Secret told me this, so don't blame me. :D It does work.

Use a pair of pantyhose and put them all in there and tie the top. Wash on gentle cycle if you can. Works great.
