First of all....because you are taking a stand. Voting registers your wants and desires for the nation (whether you win or lose), grows support for your causes, and can have an effect on others campaigns.
Second of all....I am a Christian (you may not be so this would not apply), but God commands us to be the light of the world. We are to stand up for what is right even if we lose and know we will lose. We are not commanded to only be the light of the world when we are certain of success, or when it is popular to do. We will stand before Him in judgment (as will all).
Thirdly....supposing you are right concerning the coming and present lose of sovereignty and movement to a one world government....it is not entirely here yet. Whether it is stoppable or not, we can slow its progress.
If more men in history had stood for what is right much of the worlds tragedy's, genocides, and evil would have been avoided (or diminished). One needs to stand for what is right, and not hide the light.

There have been many cases where people voting... or not voting has made a difference.
Consider the last few elections:
- Clinton was elected because Ross Perot split the conservative vote. Those people who 'threw away' their votes on Perot made a huge difference to this country.
- Gore lost because of less than 500 votes. How many people in Florida now feel upset that they didn't vote in that election?
- W won the last election also by the smallest margin in history. And, there were close elections all over the country.
- Remember that you are not just voting for president. You are also voting for judges, school commissioners, etc. One thing the conservative right has demonstrated over the last 10 years is that getting people into these positions can make huge differences.
I understand your frustration. I am a liberal living in a conservative state. Rarely do the issues and candidates I vote for win, but I still think it is important.

We vote because we are a free country an CAN vote.
The vote is the first right granted to us by the Constitution that everyone willingly throws away!
It just makes it easier when the politicians pass laws to take away more of our rights. They figure the voters are apathetic and really do not care about their rights (See Patriot Act).
Remember Rights Once Lost are Rarely Regained!

You shouldn't take your ques from Anyone in Hollywood or the recording industry. They have a tendancy to be less intellegent than the rest of the country and speak out on things they don't understand. (Not all the time but a significant amount of the time.)
Think for yourself and decide. If you don't want to fine. Just stop listening to those self important celebrities.

If enough people vote against the Bilderberger supporters etc than we all win. Running from the problem solves nothing. Get out, campaign, vote and write your representitives until they are sick of it. That is how we take America back for the people.

There is nothing wrong with the system as it is. Americans vote every 1st Tuesday after the 1st Monday in November. Your vote counts.

Good idea, don't bother voting. I don't particularly relish the idea of the clinically insane having a voice in the running of my country. Stay home on voting day, and do more research on conspiracies.
