To vote is the only weapon remaining to a citizen and it must be exercised for choosing the right candidates.

I hate to tell you, but that's hardly a conspiracy theory. The electoral college picks who they want, whether either person is the winner. Popular votes would much better serve this country, although with the corruption that takes place there, that is becoming abominable as well. I think paper trails are much better than electronic trails. It's sad though, because even though I say that, I still vote. I guess I have too much hope that maybe one day it might actually work.

I vote for the best person for the job, it is my way of saying what I believe. If everyone voted for the best person maybe someday that person will actually get elected. I am not going to hold my breath. A side note, no one I have ever voted for has won a presidential election, but I keep the faith, and hope.

You should always vote. If you don't vote simply because you know your side isn't going to win you are going to give the winning side a mandate and they'll make things even worse.

Like the Declaration of Independence says...whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it.
Try that today and see how far you get. Welcome to the New World Order.

Yes it matters!!! Less than 40% of Americans vote. That is shameful. Most of us don't vote, but we all complain. And we are free to do so!!!!!!!!!

I submit that both the asker of this question and Ryan are correct. But now that we know that, how are we going to fix it?

Of course it does. Not voting due to conspiracy theories is giving in to the conspiracy theories.
