Any glass cleaner will work just fine....whether it's from the dollar store or it's Windex. The secret is in the drying.
Newspaper works great, but your hands will be a mess!
For the houses I clean, I use microfiber cloths. You can get them anywhere these days. Clean your windows as usual, get it dry with paper towels, then finish up with a wipe of the microfiber cloth....they work wonders and even pick up lint, dust, etc.

The best way I find and can suggest to you is the old fashioned way. News Paper, warm water and a tough of vinegar. Crumple the news paper up soak in the water and wipe. I suggest you use gloves whilst doing this , this way you won´t have the trouble of removing the ink the paper leaves be-hide. And NO STREAKS. you can then buff up with a nice clean cotton cloth. Clean the widows when the sun is low

THINK SQUEEGY!!! Fast, eash, effective.
Stay away from newpaper...it leaves ink mess on curtains and everywhere else. Warm water with a good hit of amonia and a wash rag to wet windows, and a good squeegy to clean it all off. Use a clean paper towel to get drips/
Amonia is cheap; about $1.00 a quart. Mix a quart of water with two "glugs" of amonia and you have a cheap all purpose cleaner.

Or you can mix 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water and use newspaper (takes much longer though)

Cheap answer - meths diluted and old newspaper. Wet window with "meths mix" and wipe down with newspaper. Mixture: say 200ml meths to 1 litre of water.

the best the best the best.. is windew!!! original brand windex.. and do not wipe with a normal towel or npkin or anything.. wipe off with a newspaper... newspaper and windew is the best way to clean any glass.. trust me.. i detail cars for a living.. bentleys, ferraris, mercedes.. that is the best method!!! try it and you will give me a best answer choice guaranteed!
