I'm here, too! Age 56 and grandma to nine! Know what you mean about the young surfers...sometimes they stray into this category without realizing, so once in a while the questions kind of throw me off. But it's fine...I like to go over to their categories too. Can really be "enlightening" over there, but it often gets either too racist or too raunchy and then I come back to where it "safe and peaceful".

Yes I am a grandmother. I was called Nana by my first born Granddaughter so it stuck.
Usually when I read the questions, I just answer the ones that I think I can help with. It took a long time for me to get over my fear of the Internet, and "chat sites". This one is different I think. So diverce, some really strange questions, some important ones, some just wanting attention, and others because of loneliness, and still others that are informative.

Hello Everyone;
I am a feeling young grandmother of 76. My retired military hubby of 54 yrs. is even more active then I at 81. We know the alternative to being this age and are most grateful for our many blessings. We are active Southern Baptist.
We have 5 happily married children. Two of them have given us 5 wonderful grandchildren (1 girl & 4 boys) age 21 mo. to 16 yrs.. Our two sons that have these 5 grandchildren are going to meet us in Panama City Beach, Florida next week for a week of fun, right on the beach before school starts. They are coming from different states and one son has just retired !2-31-06 from the US Navy.We live in Texas, USA.
So happy to have found this senior site. Wish it was easier to spot. I found out about it because of this post, concerning anyone over 20 being on it, or something to that effect. I am slightly over 20 (nearly 4 times over) and I am pleased to say that I do not understand some of the questions. They just seem crude so I ignore them. There are questions which seem to have some point , I assume that they come from grannys or granddads.

There are many of us over 20. I am 61 & a granny.
It is summer time & the kids are out of school. It gets better when they return to school. I don't even know WHY they come to this site. It can't be too exciting for them.

I'm sure there are lots of grans and grandads on here. I'm an Irish granny, 57. I enjoy looking through Answers, some are good, some bad, more indifferent but there's always a laugh isn't there?

I in no way answer their questions, because of the fact they are tricky to understand. I also have a pair Indian friends who've a mutual pastime in astrology, yet they seem some distance and few in between. countless them prefer to be responsive to approximately weddings and infants normally. Indians use Vedic or Sidereal astrology, it particularly is a tad diverse from the only we use.

I haven't been 20 for a very long time, but age is just a number. I'm the proud mother of three sons, one in heaven & two on earth. I am also blessed with five beautiful grandchildren. (3 girls & 2 boys)
