What a wonderful story! I went back to school at 40 and got my degree and teaching credential. It was very, very, difficult. This woman has achieved something that was important to her and she didn't let her age get in her way. GOOD FOR HER! No one can ever take that away from her.

She must have worked very hard for it and I congratulate her for it. However, I am convinced that there are others surrounding her who must take some credit. She is a lucky lady who must have kind people around her helping and supporting in all senses. Unfortunately there are too many ( especially youngsters ) who do not have the same opportunity she has had.

I think she's the epitome of hope and perseverance.
My neighbor will be 94 tomorrow and wants to eat out..... mexican food with her friends. Her brain, sharper than mine, is planning next year's vegetable garden .Her mother lived to be 101 so I guess longevity is genetic.

Amazing is the only word I can think of to describe her.

I am 61 & can hardly finish a book any more. By the time I come to the end I forget what happened in the middle. But it is cheap for me, I can read the same book over & over & think it is a different one every time.......

Wonderful Sounds like she had a goal to meet before she departs and has met it. Bully for her. I wish her many more exciting challenges. Just goes to show that the brain does not quit working if we use it daily.

I think it's just WONDERFUL!! Even more to realize that what God has for you, is for you. Whatever you put your mind to accomplish, keeping the faith and believing in your vision - you can do it!

I am one who will not stop until I have received my DOCTORATE! I don't care how old I am, that's my goal.....

I am happy for the 94 year young woman.

While others may mock, I think it's great and inspirational. It proves there is life after 49.
